Unlike many assisted living, skilled nursing and rehabilitative care facilities that operate on an a la carte basis, The Courville Communities are all-inclusive. Excluding a couple of special services*, all social, residential and lifestyle services are included in the resident’s daily rate. Nursing care, assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), medication administration, social activities, chef-prepared meals, nutrition guidance and much more are all part of the all-inclusive daily care plans for our residents. We want our residents to be able to enjoy their new home and believe they should not have to worry about incurring extra fees should the need for extra services or increased care arise. In this manner, we ensure that our residents’ medical needs are met, socialization opportunities are provided on a daily basis, and assistance provided for any and all ADLs. Our services and amenities are a direct reflection of our core mission—to provide the highest quality of care and services for our residents and promote quality of life for them.

Lifestyle Services
Part of feeling your best involves looking your best and treating your body to the pampering it needs. With a beauty and barbershop on-site, as well as a whirlpool tub, visiting massage therapist, podiatrist and more, residents can pamper themselves with a regular schedule.
Residential Services
Best known for its 4-star dining with first class chefs, The Courville Communities embraces the idea that most families gather around the dinner table. It is here that all of our residents enjoy time together but also a time when many family members or friends come in to visit. We love to share our mealtime with guests of our residents. All meals are served restaurant style by a professional wait staff. The Courville Communities also offer daily laundry, linen and cleaning services. All floor plans include a private, handicap accessible bath, living and sleeping quarters, and many include a small kitchenette and patio, porch, or backyard access.
Social Activities
Maintaining regular activities and incorporating new ones is encouraged at The Courville Communities. Residents are invited to participate in pre-arranged group activities that take place daily and monthly. Bingo, group exercise and crafts are among many of the daily activities planned by a certified activities planner in each facility. Discussions by local authors, art exhibits, topical discussions and other outside speaker events are planned monthly. Special events take place from time to time such as a Wii bowling tournament, resident craft fairs, expos held by various businesses and organizations, and health fairs. We always welcome ideas and suggestions that residents or their loved ones feel may appeal to a group in the facilities.
In addition to on-site activities, many off-site activities are coordinated such as casino bus trips, baseball games, trips to the beach, picnics, museums, concerts, local tours, shopping and other seasonal events. Our residents also enjoy going out to see grandchildren (or other family members) perform in different programs and we are happy to take them and any other residents to see the performances.
Holiday time at any Courville Community is one of our favorite times of the year. Our activities, dining, and executive staffs work together to plan a party that is sure to please everyone! From ice sculptures to cupcake towers, holiday music to festive cocktails, it is our pleasure to provide the perfect atmosphere for residents, their families, and friends to all gather together to celebrate the special times of the year.
Specialized Services
Providing our residents with the services they need means more than offering the everyday residential care and rehabilitative services found at most facilities. In fact, our facilities offer additional comprehensive care to those residents who are with us for a short-time as well as those who are with us for the duration. Our specialized services include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- 24-hour nursing and restorative care
- Nutrition and diet assessment with therapeutic and custom diet programs
- Recreational therapy
Providing comfort to the families of our residents is equally as important. At Courville we extend our specialized services to the responsible parties who have placed their loved one in our care. We are open to, and encourage, family conferences to discuss the progress of residents who are receiving special treatment or rehabilitation. We also wish to keep the lines of communication open at all times, even when a resident exists independently and doesn't require extra medical attention, as we understand there is nothing more important than having peace-of-mind.
For those residents who are with us for a short-term, we are happy to provide home evaluations prior to discharge to be sure the individual will have all he/she needs outside of our care.
We host various educational seminars and other events from time to time that are beneficial to our residents, their family members, staff members, and members of the community. Examples of this include: memory screenings through the Alzheimer’s Foundation, Go Red for Women event with the American Heart Association, exercise classes for those with arthritis, and more.
